Check if JavaScript is running OK
If you click the following button, then the text box below it should show 'Yes, JavaScript is working OK.'
After you click it, if the text is showing OK, then assume JavaScript is running OK.
Click the BACK button to return to the previous page.If the text never appears, then JavaScript is not running.
There are two possibilities:
- JavaScript may have been deliberately turned off as a security precaution.
- If you want to run radar loops, then you will have to either reduce your web browser security setting, or use a 'custom' setting to turn JavaScript ON. If you want to, try to turn JavaScript ON, and then reload this web page to see if the button works.
- Some recipes for turning JavaScript ON are:
- In Microsoft Internet Explorer, click TOOLS, then INTERNET OPTIONS...
(or on old versions, click VIEW, then INTERNET OPTIONS...)
Click SECURITY, scroll down to SCRIPTING, and turn on ACTIVE SCRIPTING.
- In Netscape Navigator, click EDIT, then click PREFERENCES..., then click ADVANCED.
The box ENABLE JAVASCRIPT needs to have a tick in it.
- In Opera, v6 and higher, click FILE, then click QUICK PREFERENCES. Tick the option ENABLE JAVASCRIPT.
- Another possibility is that JavaScript may never run in this browser. e.g. the AMAYA (the W3C web browser) does not have Javascript. Perhaps try another web browser - you may wish to install Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator or Opera, ...
