Al's TAFE Certificate IV I.T. (Website Design) Exercises
Semester ONE
Exercise 1
- This is a must do - on the CD which I will bring to class called "ANTA Toolbox - Certificate IV in Information Technology (Website Design)". There is a link "Test your knowledge of accessibility". Complete the test and show me your results page.

Exercise 2
- List off in your own words your highest priorities (that are reasonably achievable) for accessible design.
- 1. Epilepsy / Dyslexia ~ Assists to these people can be achieved by limiting flashing text and excessive animated pictures etc..
- 2. Color Blindness ~ Assists to these people can be achieved by limiting colors to Black & White. (ie: white background and dark colored text is best. Red text should be avoided).
- 3. Blindness ~ by using the 'ALT' tag on images, most blind people will still be able to have the information on my site read by a Screen Reader.
